Clinton Promises Wiki-Style Leaks Of Her Own
US – A reception hosted on Saturday night at the state department by Hillary Clinton saw her attempting to successfully make light humor regarding the latest batch of WikiLeaks that have managed to cause more embarrassment for Washington.
The classified U.S government documents that have been made public offer in depth communications and transcripts depicting world leaders and their motives in an unflattering light. The documents are also known as cables.
The event was attended by high profile figures including world famous celebrities. Clinton, while addressing the party said that she had found the event extraordinary and that she was so pleased to have met and be in the company of so many talented people.
“I am writing a cable about it, which I’m sure you’ll find soon on your closest website,” joked Hillary. The event saw the likes of superstar celebrity Paul McCartney. The Kennedy Center Honors were awarded to others who also included Bill T. Jones who is a renowned choreographer and dancer, also on the honors list were country singer Merle Haggard and composer Jerry Herman.
Hillary admitted to having the Beatles ‘Let it be’ on her iPod after sharing some light banter with the rock and roll legend.
